Plant Spirit Study Course
Join Katie, founder at Of the Earth Apothecary, as you journey through 5 weeks of deep plant study, connecting to One plant ally each week. We will meet the spirit of the plant through guided meditations, journaling and using our senses.
We will learn the materia medica of each plant ally weekly, and you’ll take home a monograph to look back on. This ensures you are receiving well rounded teachings, partially from the plants directly themselves and also in a traditional sense of materia medica review.
We will then intuitively create medicine from the plant each week, in circle together.
This course will include a lot of reflection in circle with one another, but also within yourself. When working with plants in this way, there can be many messages that come through, even after we exit the container of the class. I encourage you to make a commitment to limit alcohol and junkie foods through out the duration of the course, although it is not a requirement it can greatly enhance your experience as you will be more clear to receive.
If you’re looking for a way to deeply connect with your inner self, the plants, and the voices of the earth, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so. As we will be deep in the Spring portal and emerge after our final class on the other side of the Summer portal, plant spirit meditation is a wonderful way to prime yourself and learn a new way of being with the plant world. Connecting to medicinal plants in meditation is always profound, helps to shift our nervous systems, create spaciousness within, often times we gain insights and perspectives that we may not have otherwise.
We will gather Thursday evenings in May + June, on the following dates:

Class begins at 6:00pm, and will go to approximately 7:45/8pm.
